Amy Losoya
President
I was born and raised in Renton, WA and attended Renton Schools K-12. I am a busy, working mom of 4 kids, 1 in high school, 1 in middle school, and now down to 2 at Honey Dew. Last year we bought a house so all my spare time has been spent on projects for the house! This is my first year as President of the PTA, having previously served as Vice President. I'm looking forward to being able to do more activities around the school and we would love all the help we can get from the community so please join the PTA!
Nací y crecí en Renton, WA y asistí a Renton Schools K-12. Soy una mamá ocupada y trabajadora de 4 hijos, 1 en la escuela secundaria, 1 en la escuela intermedia y ahora tengo 2 en Honey Dew. El año pasado compramos una casa, ¡así que todo mi tiempo libre lo he gastado en proyectos para la casa! Este es mi primer año como presidente de la PTA, habiendo sido vicepresidente anteriormente. Tengo muchas ganas de poder hacer más actividades en la escuela y nos encantaría toda la ayuda que podamos obtener de la comunidad, ¡así que únase a la PTA!

I am a first grade teacher at Honey Dew and I am so excited by the work of the Honey Dew PTA! As the proud daughter of an amazing "PTA Mom", I am passionate about the work that PTA does to support students and families. In addition to my responsibilities at Honey Dew, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Arthur. We love hiking and backpacking together!
Soy maestra de primer grado en Honey Dew y estoy muy emocionada por el trabajo de Honey Dew PTA. Como la orgullosa hija de una increíble "mamá de la PTA" y me apasiona el trabajo que hace la PTA para apoyar a los estudiantes y las familias. Georgia Carlton

As a first time kindergarten parent, I didn't understand the importance and value of PTA. This year I am Vice President and want to always be an active participant in our PTA. I love our community and look forward to growing together. When I'm not volunteering, you can find me at the gym or studying to become a personal trainer. I love health, fitness and being an example to my family and friends. As a family, we love to travel and visit warm destinations.
Como padre primerizo de kindergarten, no entendía la importancia y el valor de la PTA. Este año soy vicepresidente y quiero ser siempre un participante activo en nuestra PTA. Amo a nuestra comunidad y espero crecer juntos. Cuando no soy voluntario, puedes encontrarme en el gimnasio o estudiando para convertirme en entrenador personal. Me encanta la salud, el fitness y ser un ejemplo para mi familia y amigos. En familia, nos encanta viajar y visitar destinos cálidos.
