Hi, I’m Ivette! I’m a proud mom of three, with a kindergartener, a middle schooler, and a new high schooler, so I’ve experienced many different stages of the school journey. This year marks my 10th year being involved with our PTA, beginning when my oldest daughter started kindergarten, and it has become such a meaningful part of my life. Outside of school, I work at an ABA clinic, where I enjoy helping and supporting children, and I also work part time as a perfume vendor. When I’m not working or volunteering at school, you can usually find me on the soccer field cheering on my kids. I absolutely love watching my children play soccer and supporting them in everything they do. I’m grateful to be part of our school community and look forward to continuing to bring families together, support our teachers and staff, and create fun and memorable experiences for our students.
¡Hola, soy Ivette! Soy una orgullosa madre de tres hijos: uno en preescolar, otro en secundaria y uno que acaba de empezar la preparatoria; por ello, he vivido diversas etapas de la vida escolar. Este año cumplo una década colaborando con nuestra asociación de padres y maestros (PTA) —una labor que inicié cuando mi hija mayor entró a preescolar— y esta experiencia se ha convertido en una parte muy significativa de mi vida. Fuera del ámbito escolar, trabajo en una clínica de terapia ABA, donde disfruto ayudando y apoyando a los niños, y también trabajo a tiempo parcial vendiendo perfumes. Cuando no estoy trabajando ni haciendo voluntariado en la escuela, por lo general me encontrarán en la cancha de fútbol animando a mis hijos. Me encanta verlos jugar al fútbol y apoyarlos en todo lo que hacen. Estoy agradecida de formar parte de nuestra comunidad escolar y espero seguir uniendo a las familias, apoyando a nuestros maestros y al personal, y creando experiencias divertidas e inolvidables para nuestros estudiantes.

Katie taught first grade and kindergarten at Honey Dew for 10 years. She has stepped away from full time teaching for now but you'll still see her around Honey Dew as a guest teacher. She is also still committed to the work of the PTA! As the proud daughter of an amazing "PTA Mom", she is passionate about the work that PTA does to support students and families. Katie enjoys spending time with her dog, Arthur, and daughter, Gemma, outdoors in the beautiful PNW!
Katie enseñó primer grado y jardín de infantes en Honey Dew durante 10 años. Se ha alejado de la enseñanza a tiempo completo por ahora, pero aún la verás en Honey Dew como maestra invitada. ¡También sigue comprometida con el trabajo de la PTA! This is Natasha’s first year serving on the PTA Executive Board, and she currently has a 5th grade student at Honey Dew.
She joined the PTA because she is passionate about making a positive impact on students’ learning and experiences at school. The PTA does an excellent job of raising money for school field trips, equipment, and other much needed classroom resources.She is looking forward to being a part of all the exciting events planned for the school
year! In her spare time, she enjoys watching Arsenal FC (her favorite soccer team), spending time with her family, watching Anime, and listening to music. Her special talents include playing the flute and music trivia! She can tell you the artist and song title for many genres of music, both past and present.
Este es el primer año de Natasha en la Junta Directiva de la PTA; actualmente tiene un hijo cursando el quinto grado en Honey Dew. Se unió a la PTA porque le apasiona generar un impacto positivo en el aprendizaje y las experiencias escolares de los alumnos. La PTA realiza una labor excelente recaudando fondos para excursiones, equipamiento y otros recursos para el aula que son muy necesarios. ¡Está muy entusiasmada por participar en todos los eventos emocionantes programados para el año escolar! En su tiempo libre, disfruta viendo los partidos del Arsenal FC (su equipo de fútbol favorito), pasando tiempo con su familia, viendo anime y escuchando música. ¡Entre sus talentos especiales se encuentran tocar la flauta y los juegos de trivia musical! Es capaz de identificar al artista y el título de la canción de muchos géneros musicales, tanto del pasado como de la actualidad.

My name is Jennifer and I am Honey Dew's PTA communications secretary. This is my third year being a PTA member. I married my highschool sweetheart and we have been together for 22 years. We share 4 children together; 2 daughters who are currently students at Honey Dew Elementary, and fraternal twins, a boy and girl, born February 2026. I love reading, gardening, fitness/nutrition, and traveling. My family is always on the go participating in many school and extracurricular activities, and spending time with our family and friends. I love Honey Dew and the community here.
Me llamo Jennifer y soy la secretaria de comunicaciones de la PTA de Honey Dew. Este es mi tercer año como miembro de la PTA. Me casé con mi novio de la secundaria y llevamos 22 años juntos. Tenemos cuatro hijos: dos hijas que actualmente estudian en la escuela primaria Honey Dew y unos mellizos (niño y niña) nacidos en febrero de 2026. Me encanta leer, la jardinería, el ejercicio y la nutrición, así como viajar. Mi familia siempre está muy activa participando en numerosas actividades escolares y extracurriculares, además de pasar tiempo con nuestros familiares y amigos. Adoro Honey Dew y a la comunidad de este lugar.
